Ivoryton, CT Jorge R. Carreira, 45, husband of Amie Neubauer, died August 4, 2018 at his home.
Jorge was born on April 23, 1973 in Waterbury, CT the son of Jorge M. and Maria Celeste (Almeida) Carreira and had lived in Ivoryton for the past 15 years.
In addition to his wife, Amie and his parents, Jorge and Celeste, Jorge is survived by his sister, Carla Dunford; his niece, Emily Dunford; his nephew, Jack Dunford and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Everyone is kindly asked to please meet at church. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Jorge’s memory, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury, CT 06706.
