CHESHIRE - Caroline 'Carneen' Jackson, 68, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2011 from complications following a 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the wife of Roger Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Waterbury April12, 1942, the eldest daughter of Dr. Milton and Selma (Weiss) Fischer. She worked in the North Haven Public School System for over two decades as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Besides her husband of 35 years, she is survived by her sons Michael and David Jackson; her sisters, Jane Salzfass and Margery Winter.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday January 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Temple Beth David, 3 Main St. Cheshire. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter, 659 Tower Ave., 1st Floor, Hartford, CT 06112. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
