Carole Josephson

CHESHIRE - Carole P. Josephson, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of Ernest Josephson

Mrs. Josephson was born November 11, 1931 in White Plains, NY the daughter of the late Clinton and the late Lillian (Chitty) Parker. She worked in several Cheshire grammar school libraries before being employed at the Woodbridge Town Library. She retired in 1996 after 16 years at the Library.

Besides her husband of 60 years, Mrs. Josephson is survived by her daughters Lynn Scimone and her husband Fred of Wallingford, and Leigh Giampietro and her husband Phil of Cheshire; her brother Richard Clinton Parker of AZ; five grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held Friday February 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cheshire Lutheran Church, 660 W. Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning at the Alderson Funeral Home, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire from 9:30 a.m. until procession leaves for church.
