Carol H. Picozzi

Cheshire - Carol H. Picozzi, 71, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Southington Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Robert Picozzi.

Mrs. Picozzi was born March 19, 1953, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Pechalonis) Hellendrung. A lifelong Cheshire resident, she was a communicant of Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish. She was an avid singer as a member of the New Haven Community Chorus, the Church of the Epiphany Choir, and Saint Bridget Church Choir. She graduated from Albertus Magnus and was a Data Analyst for SNET. She was a volunteer for the Cheshire Registrar of Voters and at Doolittle Elementary School.  

Besides her husband of 46 years, she is survived by her son Michael Picozzi; her sister Karen Hellendrung; as well as many cousins.

Arrangements – Visitation for Mrs. Picozzi will be held on Friday, November 15 from 4 to 8 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. On Saturday, November 16, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 and proceed to Saint Bridget of Sweden, 175 Main St., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
