WATERBURY- Carol Panasci, 75, adored mother, grandmother, friend, and servant of the Lord passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck.
She was born November 30, 1940 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Piacentino) Yacovino.
She is survived by her four sons: Anthony Jr. and his wife Alena of Honolulu, HI, Dean and his wife Allison of Sandwich, MA, Jeffrey of Wolcott, and Christopher of Waterbury; as well as ten treasured grandchildren: Bethany, Rachel, Paul, Rebekah, David, Olivia, Victoria, Aaron, Lauren, and Marisa.
Mrs. Panasci grew up in Waterbury, graduating from Wilby High School in 1958, attended UConn, and owned a very successful real estate brokerage in Waterbury. After her retirement in 1988, she tirelessly embarked on a second career in ministry, serving the needy in Waterbury and around the world. Carol was a member of the local Assembly of God Church, and will always be known for her passion for Israel and the Jewish people, charitable giving, and pro-life causes.
Arrangements- A service for Carol will be held at 10 A.M on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. A private burial will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury.
