Carol Lawton

WATERBURY- Mrs. Carol Ann (Mosavich) Lawton, 64, of 85 Woodhaven St., Waterbury, died unexpectedly Friday Oct. 9, 2009 at her home. She was the widow of Thomas W. Lawton who died in 2006, after almost 40 years of marriage.

Mrs. Lawton was born in Oxford, March 16, 1945, a daughter of the late Walter and Anela (Budris) Mosavich and had been a Waterbury resident since the early 80's. She enjoyed gardening and attending and supporting her grandchildren in their baseball activities.

She leaves two daughters, Tammy Fauth of Middlebury and Laurie Clark of West Haven; one sister Patricia Bessette of Watertown and 4 grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peter J. Foley Little League, 299 Scott St., Naugatuck, 06770.
