Terryville - Carol B. Davidson, 70, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Howard B. Davidson.

Mrs. Davidson was born June 22, 1948 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of the late Waldo and Rhoda F. (Smith) Burke. She was educated in local schools and had attended Methodist College. She has spent many years as a Naugatuck resident before recently moving to Terryville. She was previously employed by John Hancock Insurance; then finished out her career with Dr. Robert Porzio in Waterbury where she retired after 32 years.

Carol was a loving wife and mother. Carol’s culinary skills included a variety of international foods that she prepared for numerous family gatherings, her favorite of which was Thanksgiving, when she would make her famous Dog Team Tavern Sticky Buns. In her leisure time she crocheted afghans and baby blankets for gifts. She was also an avid reader and an amazing photographer.

Besides her husband of nearly 50 years, Mrs. Davidson is survived by her son David Davidson of Henderson, NV; her daughters Stacy Orr and her husband Ron of Terryville, Kimberly Brown and her husband Scott of Watertown, NY and Brianne Barrett and her husband Rob of Northford; her brother John Burke of S. Burlington, VT; as well as her 11 grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Thomas Burke, and sister, Lois Carossi.

Arrangements – A Memorial gathering will be held on November 29, 2018 from 4-7p at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 496 Chase Ave, Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Rd, Milford, CT 06460.
