Carmen McKee

Carmen McKee, 79, of Hamden, CT beloved wife of the late George McKee, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023. Carmen was born on April 21, 1944 in Hartford, CT to the late Carolyn Thom and Constantine JP Allen.

She graduated from Norwich Free Academy and received a degree from Yale New Haven Hospital in Radiation Therapy. She was active in her church at Mount Carmel Congregational Church. She enjoyed her activities in the garden club as well as her dogs.

She leaves behind her son, Theodore Marek and partner, Nancy Cioffi, sister, Eleanor Eccleston and her nephews and nieces, Clifford Bradley and wife Karen, Clyde Bradley and wife Paula, Christopher Bradley and wife Charlotte, Thomas Montgomery and wife Joan, Nancy Johnson and partner Trevor Gionet, Kathleen Willey and partner Gary Skellwies, John Willey, and Donald Willey and wife Helen. In addition to her husband, George, she was predeceased by her sisters, Constance Bradley, Charlotte Allen and Carol Bloomquist.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St, Cheshire, CT. Burial to follow in Norwich, CT at Maplewood Cemetery.
