Torrington, CT Timothy Wayne Carlson, 61, of Torrington CT, passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2019.

Timothy was born in Ridgway, PA on March 24, 1958. He moved to Naugatuck, CT as a child and attended Naugatuck High School. He lived for many years in Prospect, CT where he raised his family.

Timothy enjoyed nature and working outdoors in landscaping and construction. He was a talented fisherman, who looked forward to yearly visits to his favorite place, Block Island where he enjoyed fishing and family time. In the winter months he drove a plow and took ski trips with his daughters to Vermont.

Timothy leaves behind his two daughters, Sarah DeLeo and her husband, Robert DeLeo of Wolcott, and Danielle Schweikher and her husband, Andrew Schweikher of Cheshire; his siblings, Ronald Carlson of New Hartford, Cheryl Gibran and her husband, George Gibran of Wolcott, Cynthia Olbrys and her husband, David Olbrys of Torrington, and Kent Carlson and his wife, Susan Carlson of Bethlehem. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Sophia, Olive, Reese, and Ruby, and many nieces and nephews. Timothy was predeceased by his mother and his step-father, Rita Getchell and Francis Getchell.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
