Waterbury, CT John Michael Carey, 50, died unexpectedly May 16, 2022 at his home.

John was born April 6, 1972 in Waterbury, CT son of the late John Francis and Elizabeth G. “Betty” (Bilbow) Carey. John had lived in Waterbury all of his life and was a devoted caregiver to his parents.

John is survived by his niece, Samantha LaRose and several cousins. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Carey and his uncle, Michael Carey.

A graveside service will be Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11:00am at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is asked to please meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
