LORRAINE MARIE BUTLER

Prospect, CT Lorraine Marie Butler, age 77, passed away on January 21, 2021 at home.

Lorraine was born June 2, 1943 in Waterbury daughter of the late Antonio and Marie Jeanne (Descoteaux) Brouillard. Raised in Waterbury, she was a graduate of St. Anne’s Grammar School and Waterbury Catholic High. Lorraine retired from Braxton Manufacturing after 29 years.

Lorraine was a beautiful person with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her family and friends enjoyed spending time with her.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Colleen Errico and her husband Mickey Errico of Largo, Florida, Christopher Butler of San Diego, California, and Kelly Cronin and her husband Alton Cronin of Prospect, with whom she made her home; her brothers and sisters, Sister Giselle Brouillard, DHS, Gerald Brouillard and his wife Janice, Aurise Brouillard, Guy Brouillard and his wife Diane, sisters in law Janice Brouillard and Joyce Brouillard; her grandchildren Shane Sarbieski, Colton Cronin, McKenna Cronin, Layne Cronin, Jack Cronin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five of her siblings, Yolande Brouillard, Therese Vaillancourt, Marcel Brouillard, Robert Brouillard , John Paul Brouillard and her sister in law, Mildred Brouillard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Those attending are asked to please meet directly at church. Everyone attending is required to wear a facial covering and to adhere to social distancing guidelines. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Lorraine’s memory, donations may be made to Masonic Care Hospice, Wallingford Branch, 97 Barnes Rd., Suite 4, Wallingford, CT 06492.
