Brian David Connelly

Brian David Connelly, age 45, of Calhoun, GA and formerly of Naugatuck passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Rome, GA.  He was born on January 26, 1978 in Waterbury, son of Gail Dessureau and David Connelly.

Brian was raised in Naugatuck and relocated to Georgia 20 years ago.  Recently, he was a forklift operator for EVCO Plastics.  Brian was a WWE fanatic and was once active in the sport of wrestling.  He rooted for the LA Lakers, NY Giants and the Atlanta Braves. Brian’s true calling was helping his friends, a “counselor” for just about anyone in need, he will be remembered for his kindhearted spirit.

Brian is survived by his mother, Gail Dessureau and step-father, William of Naugatuck; his father, David Connelly of Savannah, GA; sister, Amy Bell of Torrington; and “adopted” brother, Levi.  He also leaves his loving godmother, Sandy; and aunts, Terri, Debbie, Joanne and Jeannie.
