Lucille Brett

Waterbury- Lucille Jane (Tutolo) Brett, 74 passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Joseph F. Brett for the past 55 years.
Lucille was born in Waterbury on October 9, 1935 and a daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Petrucelli) Tutolo. She was a devoted homemaker.She enjoyed her birds and flowers, cooking and the beach. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. Lucille was also a communicant of Saints Peter & Paul Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Bivona and her husband William of Middlebury; Kathy Callahan and her husband Dan of Southington and Rosemarie Murry and her husband Glenn also of Southington. One son Robert J. Brett of Waterbury; one sister Joanna Sandin of Watertown and three brothers Frank Tutolo of Naugatuck; Leonard Tutolo and his wife Marie of Wolcott and Robert Tutolo and his wife Rosemarie of Prospect. Lucille leaves six grandchildren Kathleen, Jaclyn, Joseph, William, Carolyn and Victoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Saint Peter & Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury at 10:30 am. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church. Lucille’s wishes are for people attending her funeral to be dressed in bright colors. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
