Steven Brennan

Naugatuck, CT Steven D. Brennan, 67, died unexpectedly on September 28, 2018.

Steve was born February 18, 1951 in Waterbury, son of the late Charles A. and Charlotte A. (Burns) Brennan and was a lifelong Naugatuck resident. Steve attended local schools, graduating from St. Francis School and Naugatuck High School, Class of 1969. He was a loyal fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants and UCONN Huskies. Prior to his disability, he worked at Risdon Manufacturing in Naugatuck.

Steve is survived by his brother Brian M. Brennan and his wife Betty of Middlebury, his sister Lyn Brennan of Naugatuck and his brother Timothy K. Brennan and his wife Mary of Scituate, MA.

He is also survived by their children, Kerri (Mike) Grieder, Michael (Denae) Brennan, Jennifer Brennan and Liah C. Brennan; great nephews and nieces Braedan and Riley Grieder, Patrick, Quinn, Charlotte and Maggie Brennan.

Funeral Services will be Thursday at 12:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 10:30am to 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
