Mrs. Inez M. Bramhall — Active in church, community
PROSPECT — Mrs. Inez May (Zeller) Bramhall, age 94, of Prospect, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Paradigm Healthcare Center of Prospect. She was the widow of James Clarence Bramhall.
Mrs. Bramhall was born in Waterbury on April 2, 1918, daughter of the late Joseph and Elma (Broadbent) Zeller. She was retired from the Uniroyal Inc. Footwear Division in Naugatuck where she had worked for many years and was a member of the Prospect Congregational Church.
She was a 7th degree member of the National Grange for 75 years having held many offices, served as financial secretary for the Prospect Congregational Church for many years, was a member of the Prospect Congregational Church Women's Association, the Prospect Historical Society, the Prospect Senior Center and the Prospect Cemetery Association. She was a former member of the Commission on Aging and the Bethlehem Fair Association. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and ceramics, was member of the Quilting Club at the Prospect Senior Center, and will be fondly remembered for Mrs. B's Attic White Elephant Table at the Prospect Congregational Church Bazaar.
Mrs. Bramhall is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her goddaughters, Lois Barber and her husband, Fred, of Prospect, and Kathy Brown and her husband, Derek, of Prospect; nephew, Richard Barber and his partner, Mark Renaud, of Ogunquit, Maine, and great-great-nephew, Robert Harvey III of Prospect.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, to the Prospect Congregational Church, 25 Center St., Prospect, for services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m.
