Richard Bosco

Naugatuck, CT Richard L. “Dick” Bosco, 75, husband of Paula (Murrican) Bosco, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his home.

Dick was born on July 30, 1943 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Leonard Bosco and Ethel (Milia) (Bosco) Vendetti. Dick was an avid fisherman, and was a fan of the Yankees and the Redskins. He loved to cook and spend time with his pets. He was a strong man who always took care of his family.

In addition to his wife Paula, he is survived by his sons, Michael Bosco, Scott Bosco and Richard Bosco; his grandchildren, Christa Bosse and her husband, Joseph Bosse, Carah Bosco and Daniel Bosco; his great grandchildren, Angelo, Ezra, Piper Lou and Isabella; his brother, Robert and his wife, Florence “Pooky” Bosco; his niece, Angela and his nephews, Robert and Stephen and their families.

All services are private. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue. In lieu of flowers and to honor Dick’s memory, contributions may be made to the Little Guild Animal Shelter, 285 Sharon-Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796.
