Frank Bigert
Naugatuck, CT Frank J. Bigert, 83, the husband of Jeanne (Gliford) Bigert, died peacefully on September 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born on April 28, 1934 in Goshen, NY the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Grusz) Bigert and had lived in Naugatuck for most of his life. Frank worked as a tool and dye maker, having retired from Quality Sheet Metal. Frank served proudly in the United States Air Force.
Besides his loving wife Jeanne, Frank is survived by his sons, Kevin Bigert and his wife, Sheila and Steven Bigert and his wife, Dawn; his daughter, Wendy Bigert; his grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher and Corey; his great grandson, Matthew; his sister, Dolores Merancy and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
