NAUGATUCK - Betty Lou Wooster, 73, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck. She was the spouse of Sophie K. Zmyewski-Wooster.
Betty Lou was born March 5, 1943 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Wallace and Annabell Wooster. She was employed for many years with the State of CT as a Senior Clerk. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident. She enjoyed watching the UCONN lady Huskies and spending time with dogs Pepper and Bella.
Besides her spouse Sophie, Betty Lou is survived by her sister Patricia Wooster of Waterbury, Barbara Wolff of Naugatuck, Linda Yale of Waterbury, and her brother Robert Wooster of Waterbury.
Arrangements - A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Wooster Cemetery, Naugatuck, with Rev. Liz Leggett officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ecumenical Food Bank of Naugatuck, 75 Spring St., Naugatuck, CT 06770 or to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
