Bernice G. Richheimer, 93, of North Branford, formerly of Flushing, NY, Jupiter, FL, and Southfield, MA passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Evergreen Woods in North Branford. She was the wife of Stanley Richheimer whom she was married to for 63 years.
Bernice was born December 2, 1915 in Buffalo, NY and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lena (Robinson) Ginsburg.
Bernice was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Flushing, NY where she was a member of the Sisterhood, as well as, Hevreh of South Berkshire, MA. She was a volunteer at Buffalo General Hospital, The Salvation Army Hospital, and The Long Island Jewish Hospital.
Besides her husband, Bernice is survived by a son Lee and his wife Laura of Wells, ME, a daughter Lynn and her husband Fred Kudish of Cheshire, three grandchildren Alison and Kate Kudish, and Samuel Richheimer.
Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Bernice will be held Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Temple Beth David, 3 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 at 2 P.M. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 is in charge of the arrangements.
