Bernice Brooks

Bernice Brooks, age 85, of Waterbury and formerly of Middlebury passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 30, 1934 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Sally Brooks.

Bernice worked as a licensed practical nurse and real estate agent and served her country with honor and pride with the US Army. She spent many years living in Middlebury after being raised by her adopted family in New York.

Bernice is survived by her sister, Patricia Montanino of Danbury; her brother, Sonny DeGeso, and many loving nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, John Montanino.
