Kevin Barnes
NAUGATUCK - Mr. Kevin Allen Barnes, age 31, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Waterbury Hospital.
Kevin was born in Norwalk on April 14, 1978, a son of George and Antoinette (Hemingway) Barnes Jr. of Naugatuck. He was a resident of Naugatuck for 28 years and was a 1999 graduate of the Naugatuck High School Life Skills Program. Kevin's favorite hobbies included watching television and girls.
Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by a brother, Bill Golinski of Otego, N.Y.; a stepbrother, George Barnes III; a sister-in-law, Noelle Golinski of Otego, N.Y.; his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Hemingway of Norwalk; his paternal grandmother, Eunice Barnes of Bethlehem; and four nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
