Barbara M. Ciaburri

Barbara M. (Miller) Ciaburri, age 83, of Cheshire entered into rest on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Barbara was born on March 23, 1935 in Hamlin, West Virginia, daughter of the late Anderson and Ethel (Lambert) Miller.

Barbara was a simple and warm-hearted person who was devoted to her family and pets. She served her country with honor and pride in the US Army and was an insurance coordinator for Zurich American Insurance Co. for over 20 years. Barbara was an avid reader and will be remembered by her kind ways and gentle smile.

She is the beloved mother of Patrick Ciaburri and Pamela of Cheshire; and the loving grandmother of Tamsin and Matthew Gosselin of Meriden. She is also survived by her son-in-law, David Gosselin of Meriden; her sister, Janet Justice and her husband, Bill of Mt. Vernon, OH; her brother, Wandell Miller of MI; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by her daughters, Martha Gosselin and Michelle Ciaburri; and her siblings, Eugene Miller, Loretta Toney, and Edward Miller.
