CHESHIRE - Barbara L. Lazarus, 62, passed away February 28, 2012.
Barbara was born February 12, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Frank and Phyllis Lazarus. She was a longtime Cheshire resident and found her true calling and passion in life as a small business owner, working as a licensed Massage Therapist.
Barbara is survived by her only daughter, Jaime A. Lazarus of Wallingford, for which she will forever share a very special and unique bond with; her sisters Susan Wood of Coconut Creek, FL and Helene Lazarus of North Brunswick, NJ.
Above all else, Barbara will be remembered as a smiling face, a giving soul and a blessing to everyone she met. In her honor, live life to the fullest and never be afraid to share and receive love unconditionally.
Arrangements - Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 6-8pm at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., Cheshire. A Memorial Service will be held the following day, Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10am at the First Church of Christ of Woodbridge, 5 Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Barbara to the PKD Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, MO 64114.
