Barbara Kevorkian

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Barbara Elaine (Wall) Kevorkian, 84, of Naugatuck, passed away Tuesday evening April 17, 2012 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of the late Albert N. Kevorkian, who passed away in 1995 after 41 years of marriage.

Mr. Kevorkian was born in Waterbury, April 27, 1927 a daughter of the late James and Berthe (Winslow) Wall and was educated in the Waterbury School system and had attended Leavenworth High School. She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and had enjoyed traveling with the local chapter on a number of their trips.

She leaves two daughters, Donna E. Hadzega and her husband Alan, and Linda B. Waldo and her husband Richard all of Naugatuck; one brother, Rev. Bruce Wood of Naugatuck; 4 grandchildren, Travis and Cory Waldo and Elisa and Michael Hadzega.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. with her brother, Father Wood, officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday April 20, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
