Barbara Aldrich

WATERBURY - Barbara Aldrich, 83, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Verne Aldrich who passed away in 1993.

Mrs. Aldrich was born April 28, 1931 in Danbury, the daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa (Emmons) Garavel. She grew up in the Waterbury area and graduated from Crosby High School in 1949. She was employed as a Receptionist at Allergy Associates in Waterbury before her retirement in 1990.

Mrs. Aldrich is survived by her daughter Cindy Babcock of Hilton, NY; her son Robert and his wife Charna Babcock of St. Petersburg, FL; her sister Ruth Scinto of VT as well as her brother Michael and his wife Jan Keenan of TN.

She is predeceased by her sister Shirley Carroll.

Arrangements - Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in New Pine Grove Cemetery and there are no calling hours.
