Anilson Aviz

Naugatuck, CT Anilson M. “Nelson” Aviz, 43, the husband of Opal A. Keegan, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.
Nelson was born April 5, 1972 in Waterbury, CT a son of Maria Nazare and the late Antonio Aviz. Nelson was a member of the laborer’s union and worked for the John J. Brennan Construction Company.
Besides his wife and his mother, Nelson is survived by his son, Travis Reilly, his daughter, Adrianna Aviz, his brother, Anilton Aviz and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral service will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4:30 to 5:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, with calling hours to follow from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
