Francis James Ash

NAUGATUCK, CT - Francis James “Jim” Ash, 74, of 53 Conrad Street, husband of the late Mary Anne Ash, died August 26, 2014 at his home.

Jim was born March 28, 1940 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Edward J. and Mary (Allen) Ash and had lived in Naugatuck all of his life.

Jim is survived by a son James Ash of Texas, 2- daughters Sheila Brennan of Beacon Falls, CT and Karen O’Donnell of Cheshire, CT, and a brother Edward J. Ash of Florida, 3-sisters Ann Pugliese of Naugatuck, CT, Kathleen Ash of No. Providence, RI and Peggy Styfco of Northford, CT, 5-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ash was pre deceased by a son Michael Ash.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 9:00am at St. Michael’s Church, 25 Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls, CT. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue has been entrusted with arrangements.
