Armand J. Garbatini

Armand J. Garbatini, 84, of Naugatuck, husband of Margaret Garbatini for 60 years, passed away peacefully at Waterbury Hospital on March 5, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1940 to the late Armand and Josephine Garbatini.

Armand retired from Somers Thin Strip after 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of Christopher Columbo and the Naugatuck Eagles.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Michael Garbatini, Sr., Lisa Garbatini and David Garbatini; his sister, Regina Duran; grandchildren, Mark Garbatini, Steven Lewicki, Michael Garbatini, Jr and Tiffani Garbatini; great grandchildren, Olivia and Noah Lewicki; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Anne Affe.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave. Naugatuck, CT. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Elks Lodge.
