Brian Keith Antrum, 62, of 28 Sunrise Circle Naugatuck, Connecticut, passed peacefully at home on December 28th, 2024. Born December 22 1962 in New Britain, Connecticut. Son of Beldon Jalen Antrum Sr. of Waterbury, Connecticut and Constance Antrum of Waterbury, Connecticut.
He leaves behind three Children: Taylor Antrum 31, Kendall Antrum 24, And Christopher Ferguson 19, all of Naugatuck, Connecticut, and their Mother Lisa McIntosh Antrum
He is survived by his mother and father, siblings; Valerie Johnson, Amanda Antrum, Todd Johnson, Beldon Jalen Antrum Jr., Melissa Antrum, Michael Morris, predeceased by Craig Richardson.
Brian had a profound, fierce love for family, a devoted father with his children being his life, with all of his children have his same innate athleticism, drive, and heart. His infectious, dry sense of humor always made everyone smile. His legacy will carry on within each of his children.
Brian was a sports connoisseur of all kinds. As a young man he started his love for baseball playing at Peter J. Foley Little League, and Naugatuck Pee Wee football. That intense love continued into highschool, as the captain of Varsity baseball, basketball, and football at Naugatuck High School, where he led those teams to many wins, including a state championship for Naugatuck in 1980. Brian’s talents and fierce love for hard work, allowed him to become an All State Athlete, earned the title twice, in fact.
After graduating high school, he played for the Waterbury Laurels where he continued his passion for baseball. Brian has had over 100 newspaper articles showcasing his
talents and stats. He went on to be inducted into the Naugatuck Hall of Fame in 2001.
He will be missed always.
