CHESHIRE- Anthony LeGault, 73, passed away after a brief illness Friday, February 5, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the widower of Sharon (Stone) LeGault who he was married to for 34 years.
Mr. LeGault was born November 18, 1947 in Escanaba, MI son of the late Wilfred Louis and Marjorie Ann (Stern) LeGault.
Anthony was a veteran proudly serving in the United States Army for 20 years retiring as a Major. He was a Quality Engineer in the Manufacturing industry prior to his retirement.
Anthony was an avid golfer and an excellent bowler in his younger years, and loved spending time with his family and his friends...especially his wonderful second family at C.J. Sparrows in Cheshire.
He is survived by his daughter Kristin and her husband Keith Lombardi of Avon; grandchildren Paige, Kate, and Evan Lombardi, Adeline, Colby, and Camden LeGault, Trevor and Derek LeGault, and Gabrielle LeGault. Anthony was predeceased by his two sons Stephen and Randy LeGault.
A graveside service with full military honors for Mr. LeGault will be held in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery at a later date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting the family with the arrangements.
