LONGS, S.C.- Mr. Anthony F. Laudano, 76, of Longs, S.C. and a former Southington resident, passed away on Sat. Jan 7, 2012 at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Mr. Laudano was born in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Frank and Serafina (Tapasso) Laudano and had been a South Carolina resident for the past 10 years, moving from Southington. He was a retired employee of the former Air-Pax of Cheshire where he had worked for over 30 years. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He leaves a sister Angela Lewis of Beverly Hills, Fl.; two grandchildren, Erica Dinis and Brian Hawk both of Waterbury and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Morgan. He was predeceased by a daughter Debra Hawk.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. and proceed to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, East Main St., Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for Mass.
