Anna Shanks

Anna D. Shanks, 55, of Waterbury passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of Harry M Shanks.

Anna was born October 18, 1953, in Columbus, Mississippi; she was the daughter of Virginia Carson.

Anna attended Vashon High School in St. Louis, Missouri.

Besides her husband and mother, Anna is survived by three brothers Bobby, L.C, and Melvin Carson of St. Louis, Missouri, three sisters Rene and Brenda Carson, and Emma Billups of St. Louis Missouri, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts including two of her dearest Annie Billups, and Georgia Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri.

Arrangements- Funeral Services for Anna will be held Saturday, April 18 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, at 10 A.M Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Rd, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
