Anna Rose

CHESHIRE- Anna Marie (Fredericksen) Rose, 89, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at The Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the wife of George W. Rose Jr.

Anna was born July 6, 1921 in New Haven. She was the daughter of the late Max and Viola (Hall) Fredericksen.

Anna was an active member of the Cheshire United Methodist Church.

Besides her husband Anna is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ann and her husband Dan Brewerton of Kershaw, SC; six grandchildren Mindy, Dawn, Jenny, Craig, Kyle, and Elizabeth; and a daughter in law Susan Rose of Cheshire. Anna was predeceased by her son George W. Rose III.

Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Anna will held 2 P.M, Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Cheshire United Methodist Church, 205 Academy Rd., 06410. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., 06410. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's name may be made to The American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive., P.O Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492, or The American Lung Association of CT, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT, 06108.
