Ann Rapp

CHESHIRE- Ann E. Rapp, 81, of Cheshire passed away Saturday July 21, 2012 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of the late Marvin M. Rapp.

Mrs. Rapp was born on March 17, 1931 in Buffalo, NY daughter of the late Bruce and Marjorie Powrie, and the sister of Mr. Bruce Powrie of Earlville, NY.

She was a graduate of Green Mountain College in Vermont. She was a secretary at Cheshire High School for over two decades, as well as an avid roller skater. She enjoyed classic films, travelling, playing the piano, and her beloved dog Holly. Most of all she loved her family, and she will be dearly missed.

Ann is survived by two daughters, Ann E. Reich and her husband Ronald Reich of Cheshire, Gwen Cooney of Cheshire; and two grandchildren, Dr. Erik Reich along with his fiance Hilary Kuzub, and Kadah Reich-Lopez, RN and her husband Dr. Felipe Lopez.

Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Ann will be held 11 A.M Tuesday July 24, 2012 at The First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Drive, 06410. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Road, 06410. Calling hours will be held in church from 10 A.M until the time of the service.
