MERIDEN - Ann (Hogan) Cook, 80, passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Village of Kensington in Meriden. She was the wife of Warren C. Cook Jr.
Mrs. Cook was born May 12, 1932 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ann Marie (Dowd) Hogan. She was a proud graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth and was a communicant of St. Bridget Church in Cheshire. She was a longtime Cheshire resident before moving to Meriden in August of 2012. During her years in Cheshire, she was active with the town's register of voters, covering the Dodd Middle School polling location.
Besides her husband of 54 years, Mrs. Cook is survived by her son Thomas Cook of Cromwell; her daughters Kathleen Ciarelli of Jackson, NJ, Melinda Guida of Spring Hill, FL, Rosemary Batchelder of Trumbull, Carolyn DiOgnardi of Sound Beach, NY, Eileen Ushchak of Colchester and Barbara Smith of Meriden; fifteen grandchildren as well as one great grandchild.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2012 12:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
