David Andrew

Naugatuck, CT- David Andrew, 64, husband of Donna (Mestuzzi) Andrew, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer.

David was born on October 8, 1952 in Derby, CT a son of the late William and Louise (DziaDzia) Andrew. David was born and raised in Ansonia and graduated from Ansonia High School. He also attended Housatonic Community College. David was a Supervisor in the Flight and Assembly Department of Sikorsky Aircraft.

David is survived by his wife Donna of 40 years; daughter, Caitlyn Andrew; son, David W. Andrew; his brother, William and wife Patty Andrew; his sisters, Patricia Wilcoxson; and Karen Ragaini; his brother-in-law, David Mestuzzi and his wife Barbara; his niece Kelly and husband Todd Bluestein; and his nephew, Scott Ragaini. In addition to his parents David is predeceased by his brother-in-law, John Wilcoxson, and nephew, Brenden Ragaini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00am at Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street, Ansonia. There are no calling hours and burial will be private.
