Naugatuck, CT Julia A. Anderson, 51, died August 11, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Julie was born on March 20, 1968 in Derby, CT daughter of Raymond and Eileen (Thomas) Lafferty and lived in Naugatuck for the past 8 years, having lived most of her life in Beacon Falls. Julie loved animals, antiques and tag sales.

In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by her son, Christopher G. Anderson; her daughter, Mary Ellen Fama (Thomas); her brothers, Raymond R. Lafferty, Christopher M. Lafferty and Timothy G. Lafferty; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog Brooklyn. Julie was predeceased by her son, Sean Rosler.

A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be Friday from 10-11am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Animals for Life, 195 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
