Amelia Greco

CHESHIRE - Amelia "Molly" Greco, 80, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday August 4, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Greco Jr.

Mrs. Greco was born October 7, 1929 in New Haven the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Cinque) Vecchio. She was a longtime Cheshire resident as well as a communicant of St. Bridget Church for over 50 years. She will be remembered lovingly by her family and many friends for her loving and caring ways as well as her witty personality.

Mrs. Greco is survived by her sons John Greco and his wife Dorothy of Northford and Michael of Florida; her beloved granddaughters Kara and Kimberly; her sister Harriet DePino and her husband Joe of New Haven; her brother-in-laws Anthony Greco and Ed Greco and his wife Ruth; her sisiter-in-laws Lena Vecchio, Sara Vecchio, Julia Tomasi, and Gloria Paolillo and her husband Arthur; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Constance, Stephan, Raymond, Rocco and Anthony.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 7, 2010 11:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 12 noon. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for church.
