WATERBURY- Althea McGuire, 93, passed away Friday March 22, 2013 at Paradigm Health Care Center in Waterbury. She was the widow of John McGuire.
She was born November 16, 1919 in Waterbury, where she was raised in the Waterville section by her late parents William and Lulu (Blodgett) Draper.
Althea was a graduate of Wilby High School Class of 1937. She was employed as an Executive Secretary at Data Pack Incorporated prior to her retirement. She was a member of the V.F.W #7790 Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by a niece Lillian Krantz of Watertown; and two nephews Bill Dywer of Lantana, FL, and Allan Dwyer of Watertown.
Arrangements- Funeral Services for Althea are private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 is assisting with the arrangements.
