Allan Thomas Gans

East Hartford – Allan Gans, 68, passed away Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

Allan was born August 19, 1945 in New Haven, the son of the late Samuel and Ruth (Pecker) Gans. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force and continued to serve his country in the National Guard for many years. Allan was proudly employed by Sikorsky Aircraft for over 25 years before his retirement in 2012.

Allan is survived by his wife Patricia (Page) Gans; his daughters Dawn Gans of New Haven, Cheryl Gans and his grandson Dominico Colon of Bristol. He is also survived by his sister Marilyn Lipsky, her husband Joseph, other loving family members and friends.

Arrangements – A family graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 11 a.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. There will be a memorial gathering at Marilyn's home on Saturday. Please contact Cheryl or Marilyn for details.
