CHESHIRE – Alice A. Donahue, 97, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at her home in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Donahue Sr.
Mrs. Donahue was born July 8, 1923 in Waterbury, CT., daughter of the late Joseph and Corrine (Savoie) Baribault. She dedicated her life to her husband and family as a homemaker and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daughter/Sister/Wife/Mother/Grandmother/Great Grandmother - these were all titles she was proud to wear. If one word could describe a person’s life, FAMILY would describe Nana’s.
Mrs. Donahue is survived by her son, Thomas Donahue Jr. of Sisters, OR., her sister, Lillian Padolewski, and her brother, Roger Baribault. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren (Kevin, Sean, Kristen, Michael) and her seven great- grandchildren (Kailey, Keenan, Eli, Milo, Stella, Liam, Mia). In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Dennis J. Donahue.
A special thanks to her grandson Kevin Donahue and great granddaughter Kailey Donahue who lived with and cared for her in her later years. “Without them I would never have been able to stay in my house…” she was frequently fond of saying.
