CHESHIRE- Aidamae Fowler, 85, passed away Sunday October 3, 2010 at The Highland Health Care Center in Cheshire. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Fowler Jr.
Aidamae was born May 29, 1925 in Waterbury and was the daughter of the late Lewis Birdsall and Catherine (Creer) Holmes.
Aidamae was a graduate of Crosby High School Class of 1943. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church since 1951, and active in the Daughters of the American Revolution, Lady Fenwick Chapter.
Aidamae is survived by a son Jonathan and his wife Ellen P. Fowler of Simsbury; a daughter Faith Brill of Cheshire; a cousin Lucille Garrigus and her family; a step-grandson Timothy Robinson of Concord, NH; and several nieces and nephews. Aidamae was predeceased by a sister Audrey Ashford.
Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Aidamae will be held, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at The First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Drive, 06410 at 11 A.M. Private burial will be held in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Donations in Aidamae's name may be made to the First Congregational Memorial Fund, 111 Church Drive, Cheshire, 06410, or the Lady Fenwick Chapter Scholarship Fund, DAR c/o Mrs. Ernest Wheeler 257 Peck Lane, Cheshire, CT 06410.
