SOUTHINGTON; Mr. Adolph "Sid", "Al" Sidoruk, 86 of Southington, formerly of Cheshire passed away Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial in Southington. He was the husband of Frances (Namaka) Sidoruk.
Mr. Sidoruk was born in Brooklyn, New York a son of the late Frank and Mary (Chodorowska) Sidoruk and was a longtime Cheshire resident. He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving in Europe and the Philippines until the war ended. In 1946 he entered Bryant University under the GI Bill and upon graduation joined the Coca-Cola Company retiring in 1986 as Account Executive.
Besides his wife of 59 years he leaves his sons, Stephen Sidoruk and his wife Andrea of Cheshire, James Allen Sidoruk and his wife Deborah of Shelton and his grandson Christopher M. Sidoruk.
Funeral services and burial for Mr. Sidoruk will be private and held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House 501 George Street New Haven, CT 06511. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 South Main Street has care of arrangements.
