NAUGATUCK - Adele Scavone, 92, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at her home in Naugatuck. She was the wife of the late Dominick Scavone.
Mrs. Scavone was born July 15, 1925 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Lanczynoki) Kielb. She was a lifelong Naugatuck resident who was employed by Uniroyal Chemical for over 20 years. She was primarily known for her business on Rubber Ave., the Corner Gallery.
Mrs. Scavone is survived by her son Robert Scavone and his wife Debbie and their son Robert Scavone II of Naugatuck; her daughter Deborah Marotto and her husband Tom and her daughters Jamie and Jessica Marotto of Vero Beach, FL; her sister Claire Decker and her husband George of Naugatuck; her brother Henry Kielb and his wife Barbara of Naugatuck; her three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, Mrs. Scavone is predeceased by her siblings, Sophie, Stanley, Walter & Leon.
Arrangements – A funeral service will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 7 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 pm until the start of the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
